"Deified"

Screaming angel prays,
imprisonment tumbles flat,
shining some stag bends.

I can't help thinking that Angels have a lot to scream about these days...

Powerful imagery, Wild Rose!

Excellent haiku. Very impressed by your writing. thanks

Talon, i tell you can't help it either that screaming is part of it all and it won't be ending anytime soon :)

Galaxyhera, in true love you have to mutually respect each other and adore and revere each other through the worst and the best. So glad you got it because i didn't think many would understand the haiku.

Dustus, thank you for the wonderful compliment for stopping by. I hope you come back again.

Joanny am an incurable romantic too and love should always be divine and sweet. I believe there's no need to love if you are not going in it for the long haul.

i love the images you use, especially the flat back of the man contrasting with the drawing of the angel.
and how you tie it together so well with 'flat.'

Loved the words and the images. Many thanks.

Greetings from London.

Wild Rose said...

Brian thank you and i love images and these two just looked perfect together and for the #Haiku.

Ed nice to see you again and you're right about the flat back of the man that's why i picked that particular image.

A Cuban In London thanks and don't be a stranger.

Wild Rose,

To express so much power in so few words...I envy this talent!

The pictures were perfect. I love the contrast between the two pictures and what you wrote. The first one is full of bright colors, but seems sad. Whereas the black and white photo is all shadows and reminds me of a fallen angel.

Your haiku is a large gift in a small package and I love it:~)

Touch me
where nobody ever did
fill me
with what you never said
feel our wild grips
here and there
reach out in depth
revive me everywhere
enjoy my whole
as yours eternally
spill that cup of wine
over that undressed line
and drip
your honey over my lip
let me blow
my lust to your silence
as you bow
we both flow
enchanting the silent angel screaming of pleasure.

I know no words can describe the beauty of this haiku..my humble attempt is just nothing compared to that masterpiece you gave us darling, loved it..your talent is beyond words my lovely Queen..love you always xxx

Wild Rose said...

Hello there my sweet delight Nevine! Thank you my dear and enjoy your weekend to the maximum too.

Wild Rose said...

Desert Rose you're right she was screaming with pleasure and happiness and that's a nice ensemble very much appreciated darling xxx

Wild Rose said...

Sara welcome to my little sanctuary and you humble me, thank you! I love how everyone reads and understands this haiku in their own way and that is what i enjoy about writing them. But my thoughts when writing this were about love between two people that admire, revere and are completely devoted to one another. The angel screams with sheer happiness, appreciation and pleasure because of what he makes her feel and prays it will always be this harmoniously perfect. So it's not a one sided love which can make one feel like a prison with chains... that's all broken down and the man is so taken by her that he bows showing his love and commitment to her. They both glorify each other.

I hope that helped most understand where i was going with this #Haiku...Well the cat is out of the bag now :))

Once again your words speak to me. I thought I had finally found that which you paint, only to have my world crumble. Sorry, for some reason today seems to be especially difficult for me.

Wild Rose said...

Oh Urban Cowboy happy to know that, sorry about it all (your personal issue) but you will find that true love such as what i paint. Give it time and don't let the current circumstances pull you down my friend.

Cheers~

I like this Haiku alot, vivid imagery. Always interested in seeing how much a writer can punch through such a short form.
